MOYO OGUNLEWE TO LAUNCH ₦100 MILLION EMPOWERMENT SCHEME FOR 1,000 KOSOFE RESIDENTS
The Executive Chairman of Kosofe Local Government Area, Barr. Moyosore Ogunlewe has unveiled a groundbreaking ₦100 million empowerment initiative under the Kosofe Cares initiative, set to transform the lives of 1,000 residents across four strategic phases.
Aligned with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s grassroots development strategy and Governor Sanwo-Olu’s THEMES+ Agenda, the scheme demonstrates Kosofe’s commitment to economic self-reliance and sustainable livelihoods.
Implementation Schedule:
- First Phase (General Public): ₦25 million | 17th November 2025
- Second Phase (Artisans/Tradesmen): ₦25 million | 25th November 2025
- Third Phase (Widows): ₦25 million | 2nd December 2025
- Fourth Phase (Youth): ₦25 million | 8th December 2025
This initiative reinforces the administration’s dedication to inclusive prosperity, ensuring every demographic – from artisans and widows to young people – benefits from grassroots economic empowerment.
